Gastric Bypass: Jone’s Weight-Loss Journey

With a family history of diabetes, Jone once needed 5-6 shots of insulin a day to overcome her body’s resistance to insulin.But with the help of Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s Bariatric and Metabolic Health Center team, she underwent gastric bypass surgery – and saw her insulin levels drop dramatically.
